    As an expat in a country where I do not speak the native language, I end up meeting people that are in the same situation as me. I made a lot of friendships, but sooner or later people move on, either back home, to other cities or countries. And those memories of hanging out, partying, belong to the past. These thoughts were my inspiration to write this song.

    About the singer

    His artist name is FACS and I found him while going through male voices in fiverr, after hearing him doing this cover I knew that his voice would fit perfectly in my song.

    Living abroad has been an amazing experience, full of new opportunities, and many happy moments. But in the back of my mind, there is always the fear of being missing out on the life of my family and friends back in my home country. This is the theme of this second song. I hope you like it.

    Say hello to Amy Hannam, the amazing singer of my second song. She has a very dynamic voice and a lot of experience as a singer. She made sure to understand the context behind the song to deliver the best result possible.

    This song speaks about some of the daily experiences I have while leaving abroad and how they differ from my life back in Portugal. I also explore the concept of “home”. It is usually connected with the place where we are born but the more I travel the less that makes sense. No one picks where they are born, we randomly get assigned a country and all the advantages and disadvantages that come with it. We should be allowed to pick where we want to live without suffering any discrimination.

    About the singer

    The singer of this song asked me not to reveal her name since she likes to stay anonymous. In her own words: “I’m really just happy being a voice for people”. Maybe, one day, you will find out who she is but for now just enjoy her unique voice.

    #4 Song - Welcome to our love

    • About the song

    This song speaks about love and long distance relationships. My girlfriend and I came together to Germany but each one to a different city. During 4 years we grew both as a couple and as an individual only seing each other during the weekends. I met a lot of people with similar relationships, some worked others did not. In the end all of them are love stories and I wrote this song to introduce you to ours.

    About the singers

    I would like to introduce to you the lead singer of this song: Brian. He is a North American singer with an amazing and dynamic voice and over a decade of experience. He mainly functions as a hired singer, guitar player and as a songwriter. Lots of his songs have been released by artists like Chris Kroeze, Natalie Murphy, Ty Baynton, Melissa Livingstone, Steel Ivory, etc…
    Working with him was extremely easy since he was able to rapidly understand what I had in mind and sing it on the first try!

    For the back vocals I asked Amy (the singer of Make up your mind) to give a hand and as always she delivered an amazing result.

    This song speaks about how you should follow what makes you happy and not be bounded by what others might think.

    About the singer

    Say “Hello” to Greg, the singer of the 5th song of my album. He has been singing live and in the studio for a long time, and has taken part in many successful projects. Initially, I wrote this song intending to be sung by another musician but in the end, our schedules were not compatible and I chose Greg because his amazing voice has the same style as the originally intended singer. Greg took the project as his own and put his heart and soul into achieving the best result. In the end, we both are very happy with the result.

    #6 Song - Saudade

    • About the song

    Saudade is the 6th song of my album and is performed half in Portuguese and the other half in English. The Portuguese part speaks about the last day before returning to Germany (the country where I work) and the English section speaks about the opposite, the last day before returning to my home country, Portugal. I hope you like it.

    About the singer

    I would like to introduce you the super talented Sofia, the singer of this song. I know Sofia since she was born, she is like part of the family. Even though music is not her main occupation she always had an incredible voice and passion to sing. This album was the perfect opportunity for us to work together and we are both super happy with the final result.
